About four/four
four/four presents is a NYC-based curatorial platform that commissions collaborations between musicians and choreographers. four/four works to bridge the gap between dance and music audiences, and develop a new network to align artists. We champion emerging artists as well as established talent, and aim to create space for artists to grow and for audiences to grow with them.

four/four was developed by choreographer Loni Landon and producer Rachael Pazdan in April 2020. Emerging during the COVID-19 pandemic as a response to dark stages, four/four created the digital collaborative series TETHERED which united musicians and dancers across the globe to collaborate via video. TETHERED has presented over 75 dancers and choreographers and over 25 musicians to date, partnering with organizations such as Central Park SummerStage and Brooklyn-venue Public Records to present this work on their channels. Watch TETHERED pieces and learn more about the series here.
In summer 2021, four/four produced Open Air, a live and outdoor series of music and dance collaborations throughout New York City.

Rachael Pazdan
Pazdan is an arts presenter and event producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She has been featured for her work championing artists and producing concerts in Brooklyn Magazine's Top 100 Influencers in Brooklyn Culture and Amy Poehler's Smart Girls, and has booked a handful of prominent New York City venues including Le Poisson Rouge & LPR Presents, City Farm Presents Summer Series at Industry City, The Bell House, and The Manhattan Inn.
On a whim in 2015 she founded what would become a critically acclaimed music series and linchpin in her career: The Hum. For the past five years, The Hum has crafted a platform and network for the diverse community of womxn and gender non conforming musicians in NYC, celebrating, instigating, and nourishing their work and connecting over 300 musicians to date for special one-off collaborations.
Pazdan is as comfortable with the creative and curatorial process as she is with managing large scale event operations, budgets, and logistics. As an independent event producer, she has created thought leader summits for Global Citizen in New York City and South Africa, managed talent for Rihanna’s SavagexFenty runway show at Barclay’s Center, executed major brand activations at SXSW, and beyond.
Early in her career, she cut her teeth at organizations like Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival and BRIC, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), and Columbia Artist Management (CAMI), where she managed local and international tour logistics for classical and jazz ensembles.
She has appeared as a guest lecturer at NYU, Syracuse University, and her alma mater, SUNY Purchase College, where she received a BA in Arts Management. Pazdan is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and desperately misses deep dish pizza.
